SMS Sync synchronises your SMS messages between all devices a Phone User logs into. If an SMS was sent on your Jet app for iOS, you can see it and reply on your Jet app for Windows. Messages sent while you are logged out or offline are queued for delivery until the next time you log in.
Requirements
App version
All Jet Phone users must be on the latest version of the Jet app before SMS Sync is enabled. To check if any users need to update, visit the Online Status page in Jet Hub — users that still need to update will show a warning.
Removing previous SMS threads
The most important step when turning on SMS Sync is removing old messages. All SMS messages prior to the sync time must be deleted from all desktop devices.
Important: Messages sent to old SMS threads will not be delivered and will not show a delivery error. Your Jet Support agent will arrange a time for the activation and it will be your responsibility to ensure all desktop app Phone Users complete this action at that time.
Mobile users can still see old SMS threads but will need to start a new thread to send a new message.
Viewing past SMS threads
If you need to view old SMS messages, you can use the SMS Report in Jet Hub. To limit visibility of reports including call history, voicemails and SMS messages, use Reporting Restrictions in Jet Hub.
Getting Synced
Once your Jet Support member has confirmed you understand the removal process, you can book a later time for activation or complete it immediately over the phone. The sync process takes approximately 60 seconds. All users will be asked to log out and log back in.
