Q&A (1)

What is Online Call Tracking?

Online Call Tracking, also known as Digital Call Tracking, comes in a number of forms depending on the type of digital marketing being measured. For Call Tracking there are two distinct types Onpage and OffPage

Onpage Call Tracking requires dynamic number code to be added onto the particular site that you are tracking visitors to. This code allows the site to show a unique number to each visitor, along with capturing the session based marketing sources that drove that visitor to your site. If that visitor then rings the unique number they are presented then their marketing source is matched to the call and captured within Jet’s reporting system, Google Analytics and Google Ads.

Key metrics that Jet Dynamic Numbers

  1. Keyword of Google PPC
  2. Marketing Source: Direct, CPC, Organic, etc
  3. Marketing Medium: Google Ads, Facebook CPC, Display, etc
  4. Landing Page: webpage the visitor first landed on
  5. Converting Page: That page the visitor was on when they decided to call.
  6. Caller Number
  7. Etc

This where the call is generated from a display ad or email, Google My Business, etc.

Q&A (2)

What Types of traffic to your site can session level tracking capture

This includes pay-per-click (PPC) advertising on search engines like Google and Bing. Advertisers bid on keywords and phrases relevant to their products or services, and their ads appear at the top of search engine results when users search for those terms.
Display ads are graphic or multimedia advertisements that appear on websites, apps, or social media platforms. They can take the form of banners, video ads, interactive ads, and more.
  1. Advertisers use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest to create and promote ads to a specific target audience. Social media ads can be highly targeted based on user demographics, interests, and behaviours.

Email advertising involves sending promotional messages, offers, or newsletters to a list of subscribers. Email campaigns are commonly used for customer retention, lead generation, and brand promotion.

This approach involves creating and promoting valuable and relevant content, such as blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics, to attract and engage a target audience. Content marketing can be used to subtly advertise products or services.

Advertisers partner with affiliates who promote their products or services on their websites or blogs. The affiliates earn a commission for every sale or action generated through their referral.

Video ads are displayed before, during, or after online videos on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, and other video-sharing sites.

Native ads are designed to match the form and function of the platform they appear on, providing a seamless user experience. They often appear as sponsored content within social media feeds or websites.

Brands collaborate with influencers, who have a substantial following on social media or in specific niches, to promote their products or services to the influencer’s audience.

This strategy involves displaying ads to users who have previously visited a website but did not make a purchase. The goal is to re-engage these visitors and encourage them to convert.

Programmatic advertising uses automated processes and algorithms to buy and place ads in real-time. It can be highly targeted and efficient.

Advertisers create campaigns specifically for mobile devices, including in-app ads, mobile web ads, and SMS marketing.
