Looking for a Zintel alternative, or Zintel's business phone pricing in Australia? Zintel, long known for 1300 and 1800 numbers and SIP services, is now part of Aussie Broadband: zintel.com.au redirects to an Aussie Broadband page that says Zintel customers keep their numbers, login and billing through the Zintel portal, and it publishes no plan prices. Aussie Broadband's own hosted PBX page, run by its voice partner Nexgen, advertises business phones "from $35/month" based on a softphone-only plan on a 36-month contract with a $1,260 minimum contract price, lists unlimited calls to Australian mobiles and landlines on its Essential, Premium and Softphone tiers, and says there are no off-the-shelf plans. Jet Interactive's Business Phone is $25 per user per month, ex GST, with calls and SMS to Australian landlines and mobiles included under a fair use policy, one local number per user, no setup fee and no lock-in, on Jet's own Australian carrier network.
Updated November 2026. All prices AUD; Jet prices are ex GST, and Zintel figures say where Zintel publishes GST-inclusive prices or does not state GST. Zintel figures were retrieved from the pages listed under Sources on 29 October 2026; Jet figures are from Jet's pricing page and Critical Information Summary. See Jet Business Phone for the full feature set.

Jet prices are from jetinteractive.com.au/pricing, the hardware page and the Business Phone Pricing and Critical Information Summary (PDF), version October 2026. Included calls and texts are for normal business use and subject to Jet's Fair Use Policy. Charged calls are billed in one-minute increments with a two-minute minimum. 13/1300, international and diverted calls are not included. Aussie Broadband's page does not state whether its $35 figure includes GST. The $1,260 minimum equals $35 a month over 36 months. The Essential and Premium handset tiers have no published price; the page says solutions are built per business and invoiced by Nexgen.
The row no competitor has: staff on their own phones. Every system here has a mobile app for a desk extension. Jet also sells Cloud Mobile, a real Australian mobile number that lives in an app on the staff member's own phone at $35 per user per month, on the same account and bill as Business Phone users. Sales reps, tradespeople and part-time staff get a business mobile number callers can text, without a company handset or a second SIM, and the number stays with the business when they leave. Mix Business Phone and Cloud Mobile users freely; see how a business number on a personal mobile works.
What a 5-user and a 10-user office pays a month

|---|---|---|---|
| Jet Business Phone, Calls Included Plan | $125.00 | $250.00 | $25 × users; Australian calls and SMS included |
| Aussie Broadband hosted PBX, softphone-only, 36-month contract | $175.00 (GST status not stated) | $350.00 (GST status not stated) | $35 × users at the advertised entry price; minimum contract price $1,260 per the page's footnote; handset tiers quoted on request |
Who should pick which
Pick Jet if
- You want a published per-user price you can sign up to online, month to month, with no 36-month contract.

Frequently asked questions
Is Zintel still a business phone provider?
Zintel is now part of Aussie Broadband. Its website redirects to an Aussie Broadband page stating that Zintel 1300 and 1800 numbers remain unchanged and that customers keep managing services through the Zintel portal. New business phone systems are sold through Aussie Broadband's hosted PBX page, delivered by its voice partner Nexgen, and the Zintel page itself publishes no prices.
How much does an Aussie Broadband (Zintel) phone system cost?
Aussie Broadband's hosted PBX page advertises business phones from $35 a month, based on a softphone-only plan on a 36-month contract with a minimum contract price of $1,260, and does not state whether that includes GST. Its Essential and Premium handset tiers have no published price; the page says there are no off-the-shelf plans and solutions are built per business. Jet Business Phone is $25 per user per month ex GST with calls included and no contract.
Does the Aussie Broadband phone system lock you into a contract?
The only term the page publishes is a 36-month contract on its advertised $35 softphone plan, with a $1,260 minimum contract price. Jet is month to month with a 1-month minimum term and no setup fee.
Can I move my Zintel numbers to Jet?
Yes. Zintel 1300, 1800 and local numbers are ordinary Australian numbers and are portable between carriers, whether they now sit with Aussie Broadband or still show in the Zintel portal. Jet ports numbers in free and sets up your call flow before cutover; check any contract term you are inside first.
What does Jet offer that Aussie Broadband's phone system does not publish?
Published per-user pricing, add-on pricing and terms you can check before you buy, plus Jet Cloud Mobile: a real Australian mobile number in an app on the staff member's own phone at $35 per user per month, on the same account and bill as Business Phone users. Jet also runs its own Australian carrier network and sells 1300/1800 numbers and call tracking on the same account.

About this comparison. Jet figures are from Jet's current published pricing and Critical Information Summary. Zintel figures are taken from Zintel's own public Australian pricing pages and documents on the retrieval dates shown and may have changed since. "Not published" means the detail did not appear on the cited page on that date; we have not assumed anything a provider does not state. All prices are AUD and ex GST unless the row says the provider publishes GST-inclusive prices or does not state GST. Confirm current terms with each provider before you buy.
